A.1 Combining Liebert APM UPS Cabinets
Procedure
Step 1 Remove top panels from the two server cabinets adjacent to the UPS, as shown in
Figure A-1 Removing top covers
Step 2 Put a combining bar on the UPS sealing support, and screw it into the cabinet by using M5x10
tapping screws, as shown in

You are advised to work with another person when removing a top cover, top covers must be
installed back with the front and back directions matched exactly as before they are removed (the
end with a latch is at the top of the rear door).
When removing a top cover, open the latch at the top of the rear cabinet door (as shown in step 1 in
the
Figure
A-1), and then push the top cover upwards until it is separate from the rear door frame.
Slightly pull the top cover backward. After the part shown in step 2 in
the rack, remove the top cover.
