9.1.2 Installing a LAN Switch
Procedure
Step 1 Refer to the method described in
Step 2 Install the mounting ears delivered with the LAN switch and secure the LAN switch to the
rack rail in the front of the cabinet, as shown in

Step 3 Connect a power cable between the PDU2000 and the port on the LAN switch.
Step 4 (Optional) If a 24-port LAN switch is configured, two power modules need to be installed for
the LAN switch onsite. Insert the power modules into the power slots of the 24-port LAN
switch, and tighten the captive screws on the power supply panel, as shown in
Issue 02 (2015-06-30)
This step describes only installation methods. The actual LAN switch appearance prevails.
The positions of power cable ports vary according to LAN switch model. Determine the positions of
power cable ports and connect the power cables based on the model of LAN switch in use.
