A.4 (Optional) Connecting Linkage Cables Between the
Gas Extinguishing Controller and ATS
Context
After linkage cables are connected between the gas extinguishing controller and ATS, the ATS
disconnects non-fire power supply and stops supplying power to precision air conditioners in
the data center when the gas extinguishing controller generates a fire signal.
Linkage cables can be connected between the gas extinguishing controller and ATS in the
following two ways:
This section describes how to connect linkage cables between the JB-QBL-QM200 gas
extinguishing controller and ATS.
Procedure
Issue 02 (2015-06-30)
Link the fire alarm bell and ATS. When the fire alarm bell rings, the ATS is triggered to
disconnect non-fire power supply.
Link the audible and visual alarm and ATS. When an alarm occurs on the audible and
visual alarm device, the ATS is triggered to disconnect non-fire power supply.
Connect linkage cables between the drive output ports for the fire alarm bell on the gas
extinguishing controller and the non-fire power disconnection ports on the ATS, as
shown in
Figure
A-14.
