Setting Definity One or IP600 Customer Related
Information:
The install script downloaded from the ART tool normally configures all the system
parameters. Use the procedure in this section if an installation script file was not
installed in the previous procedure

NOTE:
Rebooting is required for these changes to take effect. To avoid multiple
rebooting, set all customer related parameters and license file installation
before rebooting the system.
The customer related parameters configured by this procedure are:
1. IP Address for the Processor Card
2. RAS IP Address for the System
3. Definity One or IP600 Name
4. Product ID
5. Alarm Origination
Setting Customer IP Address for the processor card:
To connect the system to the customer's LAN, you need to get an IP Address,
subnet Mask and default gateway IP address from the customer contact. The
steps involved are:
1. Connect to the Definity One or IP600 through the Web interface. This is
done by typing http://192.11.13.6 on the Internet Explorer with proxy
server turned OFF. Login as "lucent3" and password "lucent3".
2. Go to the Administer system, which pops up the Screen to administer the
system. Select the Terminal server option on the screen. Login as "lucent3"
and password "lucent3".
3. Select the Network Connections on the Definity One or IP600 desktop and
change the IP address on the appropriate interface.
4. Select Splitter Cable and select properties on the screen to change the IP
address
5. Select TCP/IP on the screen to change the IP address
6. Enter the appropriate address
