Possible explanation/remedy
The registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
is not accessible from the install wizard.
Ensure that the registry key is accessible.
Install wizard cannot execute while
DEFINITY ONE or IP600 applications are
running. The command, shutdown all, shuts
down the applications related to DEFINITY
ONE or IP600. After this command executes,
run the install wizard again.
Execute
C:\\LucentSoftware\CornerStone\mtce\bi
n\csShutdownlog.exe. Execute the
command
C:\\LucentSoftware\CornerStone\bin\cslo
g_server.exe -UnregServer. The
CornerStone logger should shut down. Run
the install wizard again.
The install program is unable to self register
the files. Register the DLLs manually using
the command regsvr32.
Install wizard tried to reboot the workstation,
but was not successful. Reboot attempted
because some of files were not installed
properly (may be in use). Manually push the
shutdown button on the front of the TN2314
and power cycle.
Install wizard could not read the key yyyy
from section xxxx in the ini file ffff. Check:
The ini file ffff should be in the same
directory as Setup.exe (install wizard).
The ini file ffff should have read
permissions.
The ini file ffff has the section xxxx and a
value for the key yyyy.
Escalate.
