Set System Date and Time

DEFINITY ONE
date and time. The date, time, daylight savings rules and time zone can be set on
installation or updated by the customer if there is a keyboard, mouse, and monitor
connected to the system by doing the following.
Telnet to the lac prompt and enter the following bash command:
systime hh:mm (Use military time. For example, 16:00 represents 4:00 PM.)

Using a laptop and the LAN
If there is no keyboard, mouse, and monitor, the customer may use the following
procedures to set the date and time on the system over their LAN.
1. Insert the RJ45 connector into the front of the TN2314.
2. Start the laptop internet browser.
3. On the browser, turn off proxies (write down your settings for restoration
later).
4. Execute an http://192.11.13.6
5. Login.
6. Click on Administer System and login.
7. On the browser click Start java client on your computer.
8. At login use the CAD icon on the top toolbar to open the login window.
9. Login
10. Scroll the screen down to the desktop taskbar, and perform the procedure
described in the introduction to this section to set the date and time.

On Internet Explorer
Connection; check Connect to Internet using LAN; uncheck Use
proxy server. On Internet Explorer
Options, Connections; at the bottom of the window, click LAN
settings; uncheck Use a proxy server box, and check Automatically
detect settings; click OK until back to the web page.
a. Answer yes to the two questions asked on the agreement screens.
b. Select the DefinityOne on the next screen, and click Connect.
c. Login.
