Upgrade and Repair Procedures
Replacing a TN795 board with a TN2314 for R10
50. Click OK.
Do not restart the system when prompted to do so.
51. At the system's (Avaya Administration) desktop, restore translations (see
list below) by selecting Administer System > Back Up & Restore >
Restore.
52. Select the location of the backup file to be restored from the Source
drop-down list and click Continue.
53. Select the items you want to restore and click Restore.
The items you backed up are automatically selected. You most likely will
not want to make any changes to these selections.
This process will be completed quickly.
54. From a Terminal Server session, click Start, select Shut Down.
55. Select Shut Down from the drop-down menu on the Shut Down Windows
window.
56. Click OK.
The system shuts down.
57. Restart the system.
All the settings you changed during this procedure are recognized at this
point.

Run the upgrade

Running the upgrade consists of:
— Upgrading the system
Upgrade system
This process is to install DEFINITY ONE or IP600 software for the new release on
your system.
NOTE:
You can skip this procedure when installing a new board for R10, because
the software has already been loaded.
1. Insert the customer's CD into the laptop CD-ROM drive.
2. Map the CD-ROM from the laptop to DEFINITY ONE or IP600 using the
procedure
page
3. Choose Run from the Start menu on the Windows 95 or Windows 2000
desktop and type f:\setup, where f is the drive letter that refers to the
CD-ROM. Click OK.
The Install Shield Wizard displays.
