9.1 Program 1:
This control corresponds to the DMC-Control but is additionally provided with the "SUVA-
Sensor" grip stabilization system. Level of grip speed and grip force is determined by signal
strength (resulting from muscle tension).
Proportionally controlled by the opening electrode.
Open:
Proportionally controlled by the closing electrode.
Close:
Example 1:
A weak muscle signal generates the smallest grip force (10 N) for grasping
an object. If the Sensor recognizes that the object is slipping it automatically
increases grip force up to 50 % higher (15 N) than the initial grip stength.
FlexiGrip becomes active at 20 N. Once the object has been repositioned, the
SensorHand Speed reverts to the previous grip force.
Example 2:
A stronger muscle signal generates a higher grip force and the automatic grip
force increases to a maximum of 100 N to prevent the object from slipping.
FlexiGrip becomes active at 130 N. Once the object has been repositioned, the
SensorHand Speed reverts to the previous grip force.

The user can always independently overcome the AutoGrasp feature with a stronger muscle
signal and increase the grip force, if necessary, up to a maximum of 100N.
Attention: A short "OPENING" impuls will stop the AutoGrasp as well as the FlexiGrip function.
9.2 Program 2:
The hand closes at maximum speed and grips the object with the minimal grip force (10 N).
If the Sensor senses the object slipping, it automatically increases grip force up to the maximum
(100 N).
FlexiGrip becomes active at 130 N. Once the object has been repositioned, the SensorHand
Speed reverts to the previous grip force.
