Communication with the Host Computer

This section describes how to communicate with the host computer by using the System Menu.
The same method applies when using the user programs.
1.
Turn ON the host computer to run Windows.
2.
Plug the AC adapter into the wall socket.
3.
Turn OFF the BHT and set it in the CU.
4.
Run the communication server program (e.g. HTTP server, FTP server) on the host computer.
5.
Turn ON the BHT, and then run the client software.
To communicate with the HTTP server, use Internet Explorer (Desktop)
To communicate with the FTP server, use the FTP Client (refer to Chapter 4, 4.4.2 Communication Menu

6.
Communication starts with the client software used.
Refer to Chapter 4, 4.2 for Internet Explorer. Refer to Chapter 4, 4.4.2 communication menu for FTP
Client.
The Power Communication LED on the CU-1211 starts flashing when the CU-1211 is ready for LAN
communication.
