Control Panel
"Control Panel" is used to set up a windows operating environment.
In the Start menu, tap [Settings(S)] – [Control Panel(C)] to open Control
Panel.
Backlight
"Backlight" is used to change the backlight settings.
To open the Backlight menu, double tap the Backlight icon in the Control
Panel .
General tab- Backlight (*1)
"General" tab is used to change the following general settings.
Tap the General tab in the Backlight menu to change the General
settings.
Enable: Turns the backlight ON when any key is pressed or the screen is
tapped.
Disable: Turns the backlight OFF when any key is pressed or the screen
is tapped.
(*1) The backlight ON/OFF keys (SF key + M3 key) overrides the above backlight settings.
Whenever the backlight ON/OFF keys (SF key + M3 key) are pressed, the backlight switches
between ON and OFF regardless of the backlight settings in this menu.
Refer to Chapter 3, 3.2 Turning ON/OFF the Backlight for details of the backlight ON/OFF keys.
General tab - Specify the illumination time (sec)
Set the backlight ON time in seconds.
The backlight is turned ON for a specified period of time when any key is pressed or the screen is tapped.
Battery Power:
Backlight ON time duration when the BHT is not placed in the CU.
External Power: Backlight ON time duration when the BHT is placed in the CU.
