Handling the CU-1211
• Use a category 5 (Cat 5) Ethernet cable or higher when connecting the CU-1211 to 100BASE-TX
networks. Using other cables may cause communication farilure.
• Do not forcibly insert the Ethernet cable plug or pull the Ethernet cable strongly.
Failure to follow the insturction may result in damage to the connector or cable.
• The MAC address is written on the backside of the CU-1211.
• Connect the Ethernet cable to the CU-1211 before using Ethernet communication via the CU-1211.
3.4.2 USB / RS-232C Communication
The CU-1233 connects to the host computer via USB / RS-232C connection.
Set the BHT in the CU-1233 to transmit data.
BHT
CU-1233
The BHT RS-232C interface has no signal lines for ActiveSync / WMDC,
therefore the BHT cannot transmit data with ActiveSync / WMDC by directly connecting to the
hostcomputer.
