2.6.5 Memory Contents after Reset/Full Reset

Data in the "FLASH" folder
(on-board FLASH memory)
Data in the "Storage Card" folder
(microSD card)
Data in other folders

(Note) If the Registry has been backed up (Refer to Chapter 2, 2.5 Turning OFF the Power.), the backed
up Registry will be used.

2.6.6 Reinstall/Recovery methods of data after Reset/Full reset

All data and information except for data in the on-board FLASH memory and microSD card folders will be lost
after full reset. Reinstalling applications, registry reset, or recovery of application or registry, are necessary to
keep using the BHT. Automatic recovery procedures are explained in the next page.
Follow the procedures [1] through [6] for full reset recovery, [5] and [6] for reset recovery after rebooting.
Follow the steps below to skip automatic recovery.
- First, perform a full rest by pressing the full reset key combination (BKSP + ENT + Left Trigger + Power)
+ SCAN key at the same time.
- Then press the SCAN key until the power is turned ON (until "Working" is displayed)
Memory contents are erased except for the FLASH memory and microSD card folder. The registry is also
being lost. (Refer to Chapter 2, 2.6.5 Memory Contents after Reset / Full reset)
Refer to Chapter 4, 4.4.3 System Properties -[3] File System for details of how to restore the registry default.
Follow the steps below to run the application stored in the microSD card when performing full reset or initial
setup.
(1) Create a "Setup" folder in the microSD card default folder "Storage Card"
(2) Store any applications in "Storage Card\Setup" folder
(3) Perform full reset while pressing the ENT key.
