7.1 System Errors
Error messages are displayed on the screen if an error occurs when the power is turned ON or while running a
program. Error messages, causes and countermeasures are listed below.
Error messages are displayed in the language used by the application for the specific country.

BHT Response
The beeper sounds 5
times (each beep lasts for
0.1 seconds) and then the
power turns OFF.
The BHT displays a
warning for approximately
2 seconds while sounding
the beeper 3 times (each
beep lasts for 0.1
seconds) before returning
to the normal operation.
The beeper sounds 5
times (each beep lasts for
0.1 seconds) and then the
power turns OFF.
Depending on the battery
power level, the beeper
may not sound 5 times.
Cause
System program
abnormality
The battery voltage has
dropped to a level that
requires charging or
battery replacement when
turning the BHT ON, OFF
or while running a
program.
The battery voltage has
dropped to a level that
stops BHT operation
when turning the BHT
ON, OFF or while running
a program.
Countermeasure
Contact the system
administrator.
The battery will soon
need to be charged.
Replace or charge the
battery promptly.
If the BHT is left with the
battery discharged, data
including files and
settings stored in the
RAM may be lost.
