 Never charge the battery near a fire or under a scorching sun.
Always use a dedicated charger "CU" to charge the battery.

Stop charging if the charge is not completed even after the specified time has
elapsed.
− Note −
 Replace the battery promptly.
 If the BHT is left for a long period of time with the battery removed, all data including
files and settings stored in the RAM will be lost and the RAM will restore to the
factory default. Any important data should be backed up to the "FLASH" folder or to
the computer The BHT starts from the "Initial Setup" when the BHT turns ON after
the data in the RAM is deleted.
 Always turn the BHT power OFF before replacing the battery. Replace the battery
with a new one within three minutes of removal to avoid data loss. Turn ON the BHT
power to check proper operation of the BHT after replacement.
 Use the CU to charge battery. Refer to "Chapter 9" for details of the charging
method for the CU.
"Replace the battery!" or "Charge the battery!" message may be displayed when the
BHT is subject to impact. The battery may not have run out, reboot the BHT and
check the battery voltage level.
