ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center
ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) provides the following functions by connecting the BHT to a
host computer via USB.
• Data synchronization
• Data back-up
• Data copy or transfer
• User program debugging
Download WMDC 6.1 or ActiveSync 4.2 from the Microsoft Web site depending on the host OS as shown below.

5.5.1 ActiveSync / WMDC Installation
A host computer with USB interface port is required to install ActiveSync or WMDC.
Install ActiveSync or WMDC on the host computer before connecting the BHT to a host computer.
− Point −
RS-232C, CU (LAN) or wireless LAN cannot be used for ActiveSync or WMDC
connection between the BHT and host computer.
5.5.2 Connecting with ActiveSync or WMDC
Connect the USB interface ports on the host computer and CU to each other.
