"Scanner" is used to set up how the BHT reads barcodes or 2D codes.
To open the Scanner menu, double tap the "Scanner" icon in the System
Properties.

Read Parameter:
INVERT (Black-and-white inverted code reading function)
Inverted 2D codes or barcodes are white cells/bars on black backgrounds, standard 2D codes or
barcodes are black cells/bars on white backgrounds.
Select one from the following three choices.
NORMAL: Reads only normal code (black cells/bars on a white background). (default)
INVERT: Reads only inverted code (white cells/bars on a black background).
AUTO: Reads both types of codes. (automatic detection)
 Note 
Setting to the AUTO may take more time to read codes than setting to NORMAL or
INVERT.
REVERSE (Mirror image 2D code reading function)
Mirror image 2D code is a code viewed from a reversed side of a 2D code.
Mirror image 2D code can be read by setting the "REVERSE" to "ON".
The default is set to "OFF".
 Note 
Enabling the mirror image 2D code reading may increase reading time for 2D codes.
DECODE LEVEL
The decode level can be set from 1 to 9.
The default level is set to 4.
Lowering the level increases the code reading efficiency, however, misreading probability of poor-quality
codes (broken or dirty bars) also increases.
Raising the level decreases the code reading efficiency, and also decreases misreading probability of
poor-quality codes.
Select only the required level to reduce the misreading probability.

Enables or disables inverted codes to be read.
Enables or disables mirror image codes to be read.
Selects the decode level.
Selects the LIGHT mode.
Selects the SCAN mode.
Selects the marker indicator.
Selects whether or not to add optional data to the
end of 2D code data read.
Selects the minimum number of digits for each
code.
Launch the menu for barcode reading parameter
(refer to 4.8 Scanner Reading Parameter).
