14.3.9 Replacing Filter Capacitor Board Assembly
The Filtering Board assembly (A7) consists of a capacitor bank (C1x)
and bleed resistor (R9x) mounted on a printed circuit board.
Preparation:
• Shut down and lock out all power to ATevo.
• Remove safety shield.
• Locate capacitor board assembly on top of heatsink, above
power board and rectifier along left side of ATevo.
Removal of Existing Capacitor Board Assembly:
• Remove (2) nuts from studs connecting Power Board (A2) to
Capacitor Board (A7).
• Remove (1) screw at top center of Capacitor Board.
• Remove existing capacitor board assembly.
Installation of New Capacitor Board Assembly:
• Place new Capacitor Board Assembly (A7) onto studs on Power
Board (A2) and replace (2) nuts and (1) screw.
• Replace safety shield, close front panel door, and restart ATevo.
14.3.10 Replacing AC Surge Suppressor MOV Board
Steps:
• Shut down and lock out all power to the ATevo.
• Remove the safety shield.
• The MOV Board (A9) is bolted to top left side of circuit breaker
bracket.
• Remove the two (2) screws that connect the Transformer (T1)
primary wire lugs to the MOV Board (A9).
• Remove the bolt that mounts the MOV Board (A9) to the breaker
bracket.
• Bolt the new MOV Board (A9) onto the breaker bracket.
• Install the two (2) screws through the lugs that connect MOV
Board to the primary wires and tighten nuts.
• Replace the safety shield and close the front panel door.
• Restart the ATevo.
