12.3 Hardware Configuration

The Auxiliary I/O Board (A4) requires two (2) hardware
configurations:
• the Auxiliary I/O Board Address
• the Binary Input Voltage settings

12.3.1 Auxiliary I/O Board Address

The ATevo will support up to eight (8) Auxiliary I/O Boards (A4). Each
Auxiliary I/O Board connected to ATevo must have a unique address
setting to identify it to the system. The Auxiliary I/O dipswitch (S1)
determines the Auxiliary I/O Board Address.
The Auxiliary I/O dipswitch (A4-S1) contains three (3) switches, and is
located near the top center of the board.
The Auxiliary I/O Board address is determined as follows:
• Auxiliary I/O Board #1 – (OFF,OFF,OFF)
• Auxiliary I/O Board #2 – (OFF,OFF,ON)
• Auxiliary I/O Board #3 – (OFF,ON,OFF)
• Auxiliary I/O Board #4 – (OFF,ON,ON)
• Auxiliary I/O Board #5 – (ON,OFF,OFF)
• Auxiliary I/O Board #6 – (ON,OFF,ON)
• Auxiliary I/O Board #7 – (ON,ON,OFF)
• Auxiliary I/O Board #8 – (ON,ON,ON)
NOTICE
Switch positions are (3,2,1).
