Replace.
JOINT PIPE
LONG BOLT
SELF-LOCKING NUT
8 x 1.25 mm
22 N-m (2.2 kgf-m,
16 Ibf-ft)
Replace.
Tighten the flange nuts
in steps, alternating
side-to-side.
THREE WAY CATALYTIC
CONVERTERS (TWCs)
Inspect as shown
below.
GASKETS
Replace.
FRONT EXHAUST
PIPE A
SELF-LOCKING NUTS
54 N-m (5.5 kgf-m, 40 Ibf-ft)
Replace.

44 N-m (4.5 kgf-m, 33 Ibf-ft)
• Be careful not to
damage.
• Use the special tool
for removal and
installation.

TWC Inspection:
Using a flashlight, make a visual check for plugging, melting
or cracking of the catalyst.

33 N-m (3.4 kgf-m, 25 Ibf-ft)
Replace.
FRONT SECONDARY
HO2S
44 N-m (4.5 kgf-m, 33 Ibf-ft)
• Be careful not to
damage.
• Use the special tool
for removal and
installation.
SELF-LOCKING NUT

Replace.
Tighten the flange nuts in steps,
