Note 3:
To use CEC, enable HDMI link control of the connected device (such as digital TV, Blu-ray disc recorder, and
so on). The MSD is counted as a CEC device, and several CEC devices including the MSD may be displayed
on the CEC operation window. In this case, select the device you want to operate. (For settings and operation
of your device, refer to the manual of the device.)
1. To set the CEC using menu:
MSD-5404
↓ SET key
[FUNCTION SELECT]
OUTPUT SETTING
↓ SET key
[OUTPUT SETTING]
CEC CONNECTION
↓ SET key
[OUT1 CEC]
NOT CONNECTED
↓ SET key: Applies settings.
[CEC CONNECTION]
NOW UPDATE...
↓
[OUTPUT SETTING]
CEC CONNECTION
Note:
If you do not press the "SET" key, the CEC is not changed. Make sure to press the "SET" key.
2. To set the CEC using commands:
@SCE: Set CEC
@GCE: Get CEC

▲▼keys: Select "OUTPUT SETTING".
▲▼keys: Select "CEC CONNECTION".
▲▼keys: Select the desired CEC connection.
◄►keys: Select the desired output (OUT1 to OUT4).
Displays the message for 1 second before automatically returning to
the previous screen.
