FDX-32 Command Guide 2.2.4 The number of TCP-IP connections The FDX series can connect up to eight connections (eight ports) simultaneously. If the FDX is controlled from nine or more PCs, they may not be connected to the FDX normally, since the number of connections that can be used simultaneously is limited.
FDX-32 Command Guide 3 Channel Configuration Outline An I/O slot board has four channels. An output slot board has four channels or two channels (scan converter output slot board). 3.1.1 Channel of output slot board ・ The channel numbers of scan converter output slot board are the first two channels only; the rest of two channels cannot be set.
FDX-32 Command Guide 4 Command Command specification The FDX can be controlled by regular command or compatible mode communication command. 4.1.1 Regular command A command consists of “@” (“40” in hex), 3 one-byte alphabetical characters (upper and lower cases), and parameters (one-byte numbers).

FDX-32 Command Guide A command consists of one-byte alphabetical characters (upper and lower cases) and parameters (one-byte numbers). Processing is executed by sending a delimiter at the end of the command. Example: s,3 “,”( a comma, “2C” in hex) is used between a command and parameter and between two parameters.
