"Position > Moving"
The discrete positions (waypoints) defined in the waypoints file can cause abrupt
changes in the movement direction.
The R&S SMW provides an internal interpolating algorithm that smooths the movement
or the trajectory. This algorithm evaluates the dedicated vehicle description (*.xvd)
file, retrieves the velocity vector and the <proximity> value, and inserts waypoints to
smooth the trajectory. The resulting movement is more realistic.
To use the algorithm, enable "Smoothing" and select "More" >

There are some predefined files provided.
