■3. Set the local time.
Step 1.
Touch the setting item to set the time difference from GMT.
Step 2.
After changing the settings, touch the [×] button to save the changes and close the setting window.

(1) When connecting to an external device which does not have clock function
If the GOT is connected to an external device (such as a PLC or microcomputer) that has no
clock function, setting [Adjust] or [Broadcast] does not synchronize the clock data between
the GOT and external device.

(2) Time setting and battery
To use the time notification function, connect the GOT built-in battery and then configure the
time setting.

(3) Time display
The GOT displays the current time to which the local time setting is reflected.
For the local time setting, refer to the following.

(4) Changing times
If you have changed the present time of the GOT where the time setting function or the time
notification function was being used, the new time setting will be written to the PLC.
Thus, you can change the time of the PLC from the GOT even when the time setting function
is being used.
