Slings attached directly onto robot
The section below details how to lift and move the robot using lifting slings when these are
attached directly onto the robot frame.

Action
1. Run the overhead crane to a position above
the robot.
2. Make sure the robot is positioned as shown in
the figure on the right. If it is not, position it that
way.
3. Fit the lifting device, manipulator to the robot
as described in the enclosed instruction!

CAUTION!
The robot models weigh:
IRB 6600, IRB 6650: 1780 kg!
IRB 6600ID, IRB 6650ID: 1880 kg!
All lifting equipment used must be sized
accordingly!

WARNING!
Personnel must not, under any circum-
stances, be present under the suspended
load!
