Switching between Use with Helicopters, Airplanes, and Gliders
TYPE SELECT (System Setting Mode)
By using the Type Selection function, this transmitter will be
able to carry out function settings exclusively for helicop-
ters, airplanes, and gliders. Using the 30-portion aircraft
Model memories, it will be possible to carry out Type selec-
tion individually.
Setting Method
First, determine the Type that you wish to set. Rotate the
dial to highlight the Type display part, then press the dial
which will enclose the Type illustration by a border.
After determining the Type, press the dial, and if the Type is
acceptable, press the "YES" key. The screen will change to
the Wizard screen.
MODEL NAME (System Setting Mode)
It is possible to input a Model Name for each Model. The
Model Name that has been input will appear in the normal
displays. It will be convenient and eliminate worry about
mistaking the models to incorporate the aircraft name in the
Model Name. The Name can contain a maximum of 10
characters.

Because the lever switch allocation and the names of each
channel will change in the situation where the transmitter
Type has been set to helicopter, airplane, or glider, flying
should be carried out after understanding the functions and
switch operations.

By carrying out Type switching, because the previous
Model setting data will be cleared to the initial values of the
Type that was switched to, be certain to confirm the Model
Number before implementing this function in order to avoid
clearing valuable data.
By using the dial to match the arrow to the position where
you wish to make the input, then pressing the dial, the
screen will be in the Character Input condition. Rotate the
dial to select the characters. Pressing the NEXT key moves
forward one character, while pressing the DOWN key
moves the character selection cursor down one line.
Once the input has been completed, press the OK key.
