DIFFERENTIAL

In this function, in the situation where servo units are being
used, one for each of the left and right control surfaces, a
differential is applied to the left and right control surfaces to
make the turning smooth.

 Aileron Differential
This is a function that mitigates the phenomena in which the
airplane nose swings in the opposite direction from the
intended turning direction due to the increase in air
resistance of the lowered wing compared to the raised wing
during aileron operation.
For this function, it is necessary to use two servos, one for
each of the left and right ailerons.
This setting can only be carried out when the flaperon, delta
(elevon), 4-aileron, or dual aileron setting has been
selected in the Wing Type (System Setting Mode).
In addition, this setting will also be valid in the situation
where mixing has been applied to AILE using program
mixing during the Dual Elevator setting.
Setting Method
For the value setting, by rotating the dial to highlight each
of the channel position parts that you wish to set, then
pressing the dial, the part will become enclosed by a
border. In this situation, rotate the dial to change the setting
amount.
Pressing the dial once again will return to the Selection
condition.
In addition, by pressing the
setting amount, it will be possible to return the value to 0%.
Mixing Switch Selection Method
Using the optional lever switch, it is possible to change over
the differential between Pos0 and Pos1.
Rudder Differential
When selecting the V tail and dual rudder, a differential will
be applied to the rudder operation of the left and right tail
fins. The setting method is the same as for the Aileron
Differential.

This setting can only be carried out in the situation where
Dual has been set for the flaperons, ailerons, rudder, and
flaps in the Wing Type (System Setting Mode).
Flap Differential Setting
As shown in the figure below, a differential is applied to the
left and right aileron operation. This should be used as a
reference when compensating the roll axis. Note that in this
transmitter it is possible to carry out changeover between
the two values of Pos0 and Pos1 using the Mixing switch.

Note: In the condition where the Flight Mode and SPS
functions have not been set, the Flight Mode
switches and SPS function cannot be used.
Flap Differential
During the Dual Flap selection, a differential will be applied
to the aileron operation (flaperon) of the left and right flaps.
This should be used jointly with the aileron→flap mixing.
