TAIL CURVE

Based on an optional hovering point, this mixing function
allows setting of a mixing amount for each system. In
addition, because the settings in this transmitter use the
Flight Mode switch positions 1, 2, 3, and 4 for stunt flying, a
different system is used for normal flying and stunt flying. It
is possible to set each of the mixing amounts, which will
become easy to use in combination with the graph display.
Note that even if the pitch curve is changed after setting, the

This setting consists of Pitch→Rudder mixing to compen-
sate for the reverse torque caused by changes in pitch of
the main rotor.
The changeover between each system is carried out using
the Flight Mode switches.
During normal flight, the values described in the helicopter
operation manual or a value of around 30 should be input
beforehand, and then fine adjustments should be made
during actual flight.
Flight Mode Switch Position Changeover
For changing the position, the changeover should be
carried out using the Flight Mode switches. Change over to
the Mode that you wish to set, and carry out the settings.

*In the Throttle Hold condition, setting will not be possible.
By changing over to a Stunt Mode, the Stunt Mode Mixing
Rate (known as the "Rate" below) will be displayed below
the Flight Mode switch position as shown in the figure at
right. This is the adjustment of the magnification of the Tail
Curve Output in Stunt Modes 1-4.
Using this function, customization will be carried out for the
size of the curve matching the gyro system that is being
used, and the mixing amount applied overall.
In the situation where the Curve Mixing Amount of ±100 on
the screen is taken as the standard, it will be possible to set
the mixing amount actually applied to the rudder as 1/1,
1/2, 1/4, and 1/10, which will result in each rate values of
±100, ±50, ±25, and ±10. (The mixing amount displayed on
the screen will remain as ±100 without changing.) This is
because in the case where small amounts of mixing are to
be applied, setting the rate as 1/2, 1/4, or 1/10 will enable
the setting of more detailed mixing amounts.
Note that this function will be applied jointly for Stunt Modes
1 to 4, and it will not be possible to make changes for each
Stunt Mode.

mixing will automatically follow the change, so that
readjustment will not be required. In addition, during
Throttle Hold this setting will become set to OFF.
In order to set this function, first confirm whether or not all
of the servos are to be fixed (HOLD) in their current
position. Because the throttle stick will be moved during the
adjustment afterwards, input "YES" if adjustment is to be
carried out while the engine is still rotating.

Setting Method
The setting method is the same as the setting of the Throttle
Curve and Pitch Curve. Refer to the Throttle Curve setting
method.
Pitch Channel Input Switching
The pitch input used for determining the mixing point
position can be selected from the two types shown below.
NORM: Throttle Position considering the Pitch Curve
ORIG: Throttle Stick Position
Exponential Curve (EXP) Function
Curves are independent for each system, and
it will be possible to select a straight line or an
exponential curve. By setting EXP to "ON"
using the dial, the curve will become an
exponential curve in which the changes in the
output values close to each of the points will
become smoothed.
To set this function to invalid, press the dial
again to set it to "OFF".

In the situation where a gyro with Tail Lock (Heading
