Dual Rate Position
This function uses each of the Dual Rate switches of the
aileron, elevator, and rudder channels to carry out changeover
of each channel rate. For each channel and each position,
adjustment is possible over the ranges of the Dual Rate
amount (0 to 125%), and Exponential (LIN (0%) to ±100%). By
combining with the exponential setting, it will be possible to
carry out various settings independently for each.
Exponential is a function that sets the movement around the
neutral position to "mild" (plus direction) or "quick" (minus
direction) without changing the maximum control surface
angle, by linking the servo movement corresponding to the
stick operation in a logarithmic curve. Further, the setting
condition can be understood using the graph display.
Changeover Operation
For the position changeover, it is possible to carry out indepen-
dent changeover of each of the aileron, elevator, and rudder
control surfaces (Position 0 and 1 (The rudder switch can be
set up to Position 2)) using the lever switches, and to carry out
changeover setting (Positions 0, 1, 2, and 3) through linking
with the Flight Mode.
Auto Dual Rate & Exponential
This transmitter provides Flight Mode switches to avoid the
requirement to carry out complicated switch operations during
flight. By using and setting the Auto Dual Rate Function, it will
be possible to link with the Flight Modes to switch between
Dual Rate and Exponential. By rotating the dial, the graph
display part will change to "AUTO" as shown in the figure
below, allowing the linkage settings to be determined.
For each Flight Mode, select whether to change over the value
of position 0 or 1 (or 2) using the switches, or to set the values
of positions 0 to 3. In the situation where the switches are
selected (initial setting), each of the D/R switch conditions
Setting Method
By rotating the dial in the Dual Rate Setting screen, "AUTO" will
be displayed in place of the graph display. Matching each of the
Flight Modes, by pressing the dial it will be possible to select the
switches or positions as shown in the figure at right. Select
using the switches, or select the position of the Dual Rate or
Exponential amounts that you wish to set. In addition, by
pressing the
key the settings will be preset to INH (function
inhibited condition).
*Regarding the Throttle Hold function and Flight Mode Extension function, carefully read each of the sections on setting.

Setting Method
First, determine the channel that you wish to set. By rotating the
dial to highlight the channel display part and then clicking the
dial, the channel list will be displayed. Rotate the dial to highlight
the channel that you wish to match and press the dial to change
the channel display.
Next, rotate the dial to highlight the Dual Rate or Exponential
location of the position that you wish to match. By clicking the
dial in this situation, the amounts on both the + and - sides will
increase and decrease simultaneously. In the situation where
you only wish to adjust the value on one side, by tilting the stick
of the channel that is currently being adjusted, only the side
corresponding to the tilted direction will be highlighted. In this
situation, it will be possible to carry out adjustment only on one
side.
In addition, the
key will be enabled during adjustment of
the setting amounts to allow the Clear operation to take place.
By pressing the
key, it will be possible to return the Dual
Rate (D/R) adjustment to 100% and the Exponential (EXP)
adjustment to LIN (0%).

(Position 0 or 1 (or 2)) will become the Dual Rate amount.
Further, in Flight Modes where this function is operating, it will
not be possible to change between Dual Rate and Exponential
using each of the D/R switches.
The display at left shows the situation where the
Throttle Hold function and the Flight Mode Extension
function are set to the INH (inhibited) condition (initial
setting). Setting the Throttle Hold function to "ACT"
(activated condition) will display HOLD, and setting
the Flight Mode Extension function will display ST-3
and ST-4, and selection will become possible.
*Note: In the situation where the Flight Mode Name
function has been used to change the name, the
display will be different.
