CAMB SYSTEM

This function allows changing of the camber using the
offset amounts that have been set in each Flight Mode.
Camber is the center line of the main wing cross section,
and by maintaining an angle between the flaps and ailerons
it will be possible to change the characteristics of the main
wing. In unpowered gliders, this function is operated
extremely effectively, so that it will be possible to carry out
flights by varying the characteristics in the same glider body
such as prioritizing the speed or prioritizing the flight
duration.

Camber Operation Setting
The camber setting sets the left and right Aileron and Flap
Camber positions in each Flight Mode.
Setting Method
Rotate the dial to highlight the Numerical Value Input
positions of the left and right ailerons and elevators in each
of the desired Flight Modes, then press the dial. Rotate the
dial to input the numerical values.
The setting range will be ±125%.
Delay Operation Setting (1/3)
The Delay is the time lag applied in the Flight Mode to the
time taken to change the setting conditions when switching
from another mode to the target mode.
INH (Inhibited) will be the normal switch changeover, and a
Delay between 0.1 and 6.0 seconds can be set. Further,
HOLD (Hold) maintains the condition before the switch
changeover, and can be switched over using the Elevator
Stick Break function.
Setting Method
In the Delay setting, first rotate the dial to highlight the
value that you wish to set, then press the dial which will
enclose the value by a border. Next, rotate the dial in this
condition to change the setting amount. Actually move the
stick position and press the STO key to input the values.
By pressing the
key during the adjustment, "INH"
(Inhibited) will be preset in the Delay setting and U50%
(Up 50%) will be preset to each of the Stick Position
settings.
The LFLP (Left Flap) and RFLP (Right Flap) should be set
as Dual Flaps in the Wing Type (System Setting Mode).
In addition, there is a function to alleviate sudden changes
in the attitude of the glider body caused by the Flight Mode
switch operation, in which the offset amounts set in this
function are applied to each of the Flap, Flaperon, and
Elevator Trims to delay the switching of the servos until the
actual setting positions are reached. This delay operation
can be suspended using the elevator stick.
Camber Offset
(Aileron and Flap Offsets)
(L/R, D/U 0 to 100)
(INH, 0.1 to 6.0s, HOLD)
"BREAK" is a function that suspends the Delay operation
using the elevator stick. To make this function effective, the
setting should be set to "ACT". Further, the stick position
where the suspension will occur can be set to an optional
location. When the value set in the following page is U (Up)
and the elevator stick is located on the lower side of the
setting position, or when the value is D (Down) and the
elevator stick is located on the upper side of the setting
position, the Delay operation will be suspended.
Note that this setting value will be common for all Flight
Modes.
