Situation where 2-4 Servo Swash Type has been Selected
The Swash Mixing Amount Setting screen will be added
only when either the 2-servo specification, 3-servo specifi-
cation, or 4-servo specification has been selected as the
Swash Type
(Type selected in the
System Setting Mode)
When the setting is 2-servo 180°,
this will not be displayed.
Swash Mixing Setting Method
First, determine the channel that you wish to set. By rotating
the dial to highlight the channel display part that you wish to
set and then pressing the dial, the part will be enclosed by a
border. Rotate the dial to change the setting amount.
Pressing the dial once again will return to the Channel
Selection condition.
Further, pressing the
key during the setting amount
adjustment will return the amount to 60%.
EXP Function
It will be possible to set the corresponding servo to have an
operation as a logarithmic curve. This function is used to
alleviate a certain amount of the errors due to the servo
horn mechanical differential by operating in a way that
makes the servo horn circular movement closer to a straight
line movement.
For the settings, rotate the dial in the Channel Selection
condition to highlight "INH" as shown in the figure at right.
By pressing the dial in this condition, it will be possible to
change the setting to "ACT".
Adjustment Procedure
1. First, it will be necessary to change all of the settings to
the standard condition. If required, implement Data
Reset (ERASE).
In addition, set the Aileron and Elevator Trim, and the
Hovering Pitch Trim to the neutral position.
2. After selecting the swash type (in System Setting Mode)
to match the helicopter type, set the operation direction
of each servo using the Reverse switch items so that the
pitch operation is correct.
3. When all of the servos have been set to the neutral
condition, adjust using Sub Trim so that each servo horn
is at right angles to the linkages. Then set the linkages
so that the swash plate is horizontal.
4. Carry out pitch operation (throttle operation), and carry
out fine adjustment of each operation amount by adjust-
ing the left and right control surface angles with the
purpose of compensating for the variation in the control
surface angle of each servo to realize parallel movement
of the swash plate.
5. Carry out aileron and elevator operation, and in the
situation where the operation direction is reversed, set
the corresponding mixing amount in the swash mixing to
the minus direction.
System Setting Mode swash type.
This mixing adjusts the movement amount of the swash
plate due to the aileron, elevator, and pitch operation.

of the stick operations should then be adjusted. Although
the variable range is ±125%, applying an adjustment that
is too large will overrun the servo maximum control
surface angle. If the adjustment is insufficient, adjust
using the servo horn hole position.
After carrying out the above adjustment, carry out the
setting of the Pitch Curve and Dual Rate.

*In the situation where the swash plate direction of the helicopter
that you are using is as shown in the figure above, set the pitch
setting amount to the minus side (-60%).
By pressing the dial and selecting
"YES", switching will take place.
It is possible to easily
