BRAKE SYSTEM

This mixing uses the spoiler stick (throttle stick) for carrying
out braking operation using the main wing moveable
surfaces. Further, it will also be possible to apply mixing to
the elevator to restrict the raising of the glider nose, and to
carry out the spoiler stick settings described below.
Using the optional switches, it will be possible to carry out
setting of two systems with two different amounts and
directions. This mixing is also known as Spoileron or Crow.

Brake Operation Amount Setting Method (1/3)
Use the dial to move to the Brake Mixing amount, then
press the dial, and input the Mixing amount.
The spoilers can be set between 0 and 100%, the flaperons
between 0 and 150%, and the flaps between 0 and 250%.
Elevator Mixing Setting Method (2/3)
Input the brake operation amounts of the spoilers, flaper-
ons, and flaps. Afterwards, rotate the dial to change the
screen to display the Mixing to Elevator screen, and set the
mixing amounts to the elevators. Curve Mixing can be used
in this mixing. Regarding the input method, refer to the
Curve Mixing section of the Program Mixing.

possible to set the preset value by using the
In addition, by setting ELEV TRIM INPUT to "ACT", it will be
possible to adjust the Point-0 value using the Elevator Trim
switch.
This should be utilized for adjustment during flight. During
the adjustment, the Elevator Trim itself will be invalid.
Further, after the adjustment has been completed, be
certain to set this to "INH".

Flaperons Mixing Setting Method (3/3)
Input the brake operation amounts of the spoilers, flaper-
ons, and flaps. Afterwards, rotate the dial to change the
screen to display the Mixing to Fraperons screen, and set
the mixing amounts to the fraperons. Curve Mixing can be
used in this mixing. Regarding the input method, refer to the
Curve Mixing section of the Program Mixing.
Spoiler Stick Setting
Using BRAKE START POS., it will be possible to set the
Brake Mixing start point to an optional position on the spoiler
stick. For example, when the position is set to 50, lowering
the stick from the center will start the mixing.
