TIMER

This transmitter incorporates an Integrated Timer Display
Function and three systems of independent timer functions.
In the figure below (second from the top), in addition to
showing each of the Timer Setting parts, the Integrated
Timer operation part is shown at the top right of the screen.

If the dial is pressed in the
condition shown in the figure at
the right, the screen will enter
the Item Selection condition.
When Down Timer is selected,
the screen will change to show
the TIMER1 display condition,
and when Stopwatch is selected
the screen will change to the
TIMER2 condition.

Timer ON Number of Times Counter
This counts up the number of times
that the Timer has been switched
ON. By setting the cursor on top of
the figures and pressing the dial, it
will be possible to carry out a reset.
Clear Key
(By placing the cursor on the Timer
and pressing the
key, it will be
possible to carry out a reset.)
Function Key
(Only in the situation where
TIM KEY has been selected)
Timer Function
During the counting, it is possible to give notification of the
passage of time using an alarm sound.
When the Down Timer passes zero, it will change to an Up
Count, and "+" will be shown in the time display. At this time,
the Up Count will continue up to 59'59"(59 minutes 59
seconds).
During the Stopwatch setting, the Up Count will start from
zero and will count up to 59'59"(59 minutes 59 seconds).
The Timer is used in the normal display condition.
In the situation where Clear is to be carried out, rotate the
dial to highlight the Timer that you wish to clear, and then
press the
key.
By pressing the
key during the Down Count, clearing
will be carried out to the time that was set, and the counting
will stop.
Further, pressing the
key during the Stopwatch setting
will clear the time to 0'00", and the counting will stop.
Integrated Time
The Integrated Time will be applied for each Model. When
this time exceeds 100 hours, the time will return to zero.
This should be used as a reference for the maintenance
time of each aircraft.
When each of these settings is carried out, the timer
information is displayed in addition to the normal display
information as shown in the following figure (third from the
top).

Timer Operation Switch Selection Method
By rotating the dial to highlight the switch display of the
START part, and pressing the dial, the switch can be
selected as shown in the figure below.
The TIM KEY is a function key in the Normal Display
screen, and Start/Stop is repeated together with the Snap
Roll switch.
SPS0 and 1 are the Stick Position Switches. In the situation
where these are displayed in gray, by setting the SPS
function the display will change to normal display and
selection will become possible.
By pressing the
figure, the Integrated Time will be preset to the cleared
value (0:00).
