Description of Failure
Green READY ATTENTION LED on top of the printer does not
turn on when the READY displays.
Printing stops or slow printing.
Printhead carriage only moves approximately 1 inch.
Printing starts to print 1 line, then printer hangs.
Printhead crashes into left or right side frame, or the margins
shift.
AFTA wheel indications varies on same paper-weight.
Fanfold paper does not load or feed. No paper movement.
Fanfold paper jams.
Fanfold paper print line skew. Print line too high or low on one
end of line.
Ribbon life failures.
Ribbon feed or lift failure.
Fanfold stacking problems.
Forms damage at perforations of multiple-part forms or heavy
stock.
Forms damage.
Action
Replace the READY ATTENTION LED.
