Position Lam p Bulb Replacement

Note:
•
The position lamp is fitted to the centre of
the headlight.
1.
Remove the rider's seat (see-page 16-13).
2.
Disconnect the battery, negative <black> lead first.
3 . Remove the fou r fixings and remove the headl ight
surround.

4. Detach the ru bber reta iner from the head light and
pull out the bulb.

Installation

1.
I nstallation is the reverse of removal, noting the
following:
Note:
•
Tighten the headlight surround fixings to
3 Nm.
•
Reconnect the battery, positive (red) lead
first.

Headlight Assembly

Removal

1 . Remove t h e rider's seat (see p a g e 16-13).
2 . Disconnect t h e battery, negative <black> lead first.
3 .
Remove the windscreen <see page 16- 19).
4. Remove the cockpit assembly (see page 16-m.
5. Release the fou r fixings secu ring the headlight to the
front subframe.
6. Disconnect the electrica l connector and remove the
headlight.
Installation
1 . I n sta l lation is t h e reverse of rem oval, noting the
following:
Note:
•
Tighten the headlight fixings to 3 . 5 Nm.
•
Reconnect the battery, positive <red) lead
first.
