Fuel System/Engine Management
Barometric Pressure Sensor
Removal
Note:
The barometric pressure sensor is located
on the battery tray, under the battery.
Remove the rider's seat (see page 16-13).
1.
Remove the battery (see page 17-8)
2.
Disconnect the m u lti-plug.
3.
Release the fixing securing the sensor to the battery

tray and remove the sensor.

Installation
Fit t h e sensor t o t h e battery tray, tig htening t h e fixing

to 1.5 Nm.
Recon nect the m ulti-plug.
2.
Refit the battery <see page 17-8).
3.
Refit the rider's seat <see page 16-13).

Fall Detection Switch
Removal
Note:
The fall detection switch is located below
the rear rack, forward of the rear light unit.
Remove the rider's seat (see page 16- 13>.
1.
Disconnect the battery, negative (black) lead first.
2.
Remove the rea r rack <see page 16-20>.
3 .
Disconnect the mu lti-plug.
4.
Release t h e fixings securing t h e switch t o t h e battery

tray and remove the switch. Discard the fixings.

Installation
Fit the switch t o the battery tray, secu re with new

fixings and tighten to 3 Nm.
Reconnect the m ulti-plug.
2.
Refit the rea r rack <see page 16-21},

Reconnect the battery, positive (red) lead first.
4.
Refit the rider's seat (see page 16- 13).
