Locate the outer cables to the bracket and adjust

Removal
Note:
Because fuel stored in the fuel rail will be at
3 bar pressure, it is essential that the fuel
pressure is reduced before any dismantling
of the fuel
rail
pressure, briefly crank the engine with the
fuel pump disconnected.
If the fuel rai l is dismantled without first reducing
pressu re
fuel
may
esca pe
components to be coated with fuel.
Th is would represent a serious fire haza rd wh ich could
lead to burn injuries and damage to property.
Remove the rider's seat (see p a g e 16-13).

Disconnect the battery, negative (black> lead first.

Remove the fuel ta n k (see page 10-91).
