Removal

Note:
•
The rear light is a sealed for life unit and
must be replaced in the event of a failure.
1. Remove the seats (see page 76-13).
2 . Disconnect t h e battery, negative (black> lead first.
3 .
Remove the rear mudguard (see page 1 6-22>.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Release the fixings secu ring the light u n it to the rear
light bracket.

6. Remove the rear lig ht.

Installation

1 . I nstallation is the reverse of t h e removal procedu re,
noting the fol lowing:
Note:
•
Tighten the rear light fixings to 4 Nm.
•
Reconnect the battery, positive (red) lead
first.

Bulb Replacement

Direction indicator lens
2. Screw
The lens on each direction ind icator is held in place by a
securing screw located in the lens of the light.
Release the screw and remove the lens to gain access to
the bulb for replacement.
