Relays
The relay pack is located beneath the rider's seat, ad jacent
to the fuse boxes. To gain access to the relays, remove the
rider's seat (see page 16-13).
Relay Identification

Direction Indicator Unit
The directio n ind icator u n it is located below the rea r rack,
adjacent to the rear light u nit. To gain access to the relays,
remove the rea r rack <see page 16-20).

Fuses
If a fuse fails d u ring operation, inspect the electrica l
system to determ ine the cause, and then replace it with a
new fuse of the correct cu rrent rating.
A blown fuse is ind icated when all of the systems
protected
by
that
fuse
checking for a blown fuse, use the table below to establish
which fuse has blown.
Note:
•
The starter solenoid has an additional 3 0
Amp fuse attached directly to the solenoid,
beneath the rider's seat.

Always replace blown fuses with
cu rrent rating <as specified on the fuse box cover) and
never use a fuse of higher rating.
