Test
1 Check cable and terminal integrity:
- ECM p i n B27
- ECM pin B28
- Instrument pin 4
- Instrument pin 5
2 Check cable for short circuit:
- ECM p i n B27 to B 2 8
- ECM pin B27 to ground
- ECM pin B28 to ground
3 Check cable continuity:
- ECM pin B 2 8 to I nstrument pin 4
- ECM pin B27 to I nstrument pin 5
4 Reconnect harness, clear fault code and run O K
engine

test 4
Contact Triumph service
Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed to
test 4
Action complete, quit test
