Pinpoint Tests
Test
1 Check cable and terminal integrity:
- ECM p i n 804
2 Check cable for short circuit:
- ECM pin 804 to ground
3 Check cable continuity:
- ECM pin 804 to sensor pin 1
- Sensor pin 2 to ground
4 Check cable for short circu it:
- Sensor pin 1 to sensor pin 2
5 Reconnect harness, clear fault code

Proceed to test 4
Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed to
test 5
Renew fuel level sensor and proceed to test 5
Locate and rectify wiring fa ult, proceed to
test 5
Action complete, quit test
