Cockpit Assembly

Removal

Note:
•
This procedure describes the removal and
installation procedure for both Tiger 800
and Tiger SOO)_(C models.
1 . Remove the rider's seat <see page 16- 13).
2 .
Disconnect the battery, negative (black> lead first.
3 . Remove the two in ner rea r fixings, located near to
the ignition switch.

5. Remove the front u pper fixi ngs, located
All models:
below the headlig ht. Collect the nuts from the inside
of the cockpit.

Lift the rea r of the cockpit assem bly clea r of the fuel
tan k, then carefu lly lower the front of the cockpit and
remove towa rds the front of the motorcycle.

Removal and disassembly of the right hand
cockpit side assembly is shown, removal of
the left hand side is similar.
1 . Remove t h e front fixing a n d separate t h e cockpit
side assembly from the centre pa nel/bea k support.
