Installation
1 .
Lightly smea r t h e wheel spacers with g rease a n d
locate in the h u bs.
2.
Position the wheel between the forks ensuring the
spacers remain in position on both sides.

Refit the wheel spindle from the rig ht hand side and
tighten to
65 Nm.
4.
Lower the motorcycle to the g round and pump the
front suspension to a llow the left hand fork to 'float'
to its natura l position on the wheel spind le.
5.
Check that the brake disc is centra l ly located to the
caliper on the left hand side. I f not, apply gentle
pressure to the fork to ensure the d isc is centred with
the cal iper.
6.
Maintaining the above position, tig hten the fork
pinch bolts to
22 Nm.

Thoroughly clean and degrease the brake discs.
8.
Refit the front bra ke calipers (see page 14- 18).

lt is dangerous to operate the motorcycle with defective
brakes; you must have your a uthorised Triumph dealer
take remedial action before you attempt to ride the
motorcycle again. Fai l u re to take remedial action may
reduce braking efficiency leading to l oss of motorcycle
control and an accident.

Check the operation of the front brake.
