Fuel System/Engine Management
Throttle Body Balancing
Note:
•
The throttles cannot
equipment to measure vacuum
throttle. Instead, the Triumph
software must be used.
1. Remove the rider's seat'<see page
2. Remove the fuel tank <see page

If the engine has recently

4. Turn the ignition to the 'O FF' position.
5. Using the extension cable T38801 2 3, carefully
connect the fuel pump con nection on the main
harness to the fuel tank. Connect the other end of
the harness extension to the motorcycle main
harness.
6. Select the fuel pressure gauge adapter ma rked 'B'
from service tool T3 880001.

Always us the correct fuel pressu re gauge adapter
(adapter 'B' for Tiger 800 and Tiger SOOXC.

Z Connect the adapter hose to the fuel pump plate
outlet as shown in the illustration below.
1. Adaptor hose 'B'
2. Fuel pump plate outlet

8. Connect the fuel hose to the adaptor hose as shown
in the illustration below.
1. Motorcycle fuel hose
2. Adaptor hose 'B'
3. Fuel purnp connection

9. Attach exhaust extraction hoses to the silencer.
10. Attach the Triumph diagnostic tool to the dedicated
plug, refer to the Triumph Diagnostic Tool User
Guide. Start the engine, and allow to idle.

TU N E'.
12. Select 'BALAN CE TH ROTTLES'.
