Cleaning the recording head / charging needle

Clean the recording head and charging needle in the following cases:
• When the print quality is bad (also clean the scanner)
• When the drum cartridge or toner cartridge is replaced
To clean the recording head, open the front cover. Insert and remove the
recording head cleaning rod (B6). To prevent uneven cleaning, do not stop until
cleaning is complete.
After cleaning, be sure to return the cleaning rod to its original position.
To clean the charging needle, open the front cover. Insert and remove the
charging needle cleaning rod (B7).
After cleaning, be sure to return the cleaning rod to its original position.
