Description
You can reject fax reception from specified
parties. For details, refer to "Blocking Junk
Faxes" (page 6-17).
This sets the number of rings until the fax
reception automatically starts when the
reception mode is in fax mode or tel/fax mode.
This sets the pause time when the dialing
symbol (/P) is inserted.
This sets the scanning resolution when a
document is scanned for S-fine transmission.
If you set this to 600dpi, the scan will have
greater clarity than in 400dpi.
Auto : A utomatically reduce the received
document to fit onto one sheet of paper
(reduced in 50% max). If the reduced
document length exceeds the reduction
margin, the document will be printed
onto two or more sheets of paper at
100% magnification.
100%: P rint without the reduction. (Some
received documents may be printed
separately on two pages).
This sets the default reduction margin.
Normally, you do not need to change this
setting.
For details about the reduction margin, refer to
"Recording Received Documents" (page 3-33).
If "H-Page Rx" is set, when you receive two
pages of documents comparable to A4 , A5 ,
or B5 consecutively, they will be merged to
fit onto one sheet of paper and printed.
If the optional duplex print unit is installed,
"Duplex Rx" is displayed in addition. If
"Duplex Rx" is set, you can print the received
documents on both sides of the paper.
If you set this to On, A4 documents can be
rotated to A4 for scanning and transmitted.
The rotate transmission function is only
effective when the memory transmission is
"On".
