Toner cartridge type A: Approx. 10,000 sheets (A4, coverage 6%*)
Toner cartridge type B: Approx. 20,000 sheets (A4, coverage 6%*)
Drum cartridge: Approx. 100,000 sheets (A4, coverage 6%*)
When the time to replace the cartridges approaches, the message regarding
replacement appears on the display. Have the new toner or drum cartridge
ready beforehand.
• P rintable number of sheets will vary depending on the contrast settings, room
temperature, humidity, and the number of sheets printed per job.
* "A4, coverage 6%" means the toner area to the A4-sized paper is 6%.
Handling precautions
• N ever burn or dispose of the toner cartridge in a fire. This could cause any
remaining toner to ignite, resulting in a larger fire and/or burns.
• W hen disposing of toner cartridges, put the cartridges in a bag to prevent
any remaining toner from scattering, and dispose of them according to local
regulations.
IMPORTANT
• Never disassemble the cartridges.
• D o not directly touch the photoreceptor surface of the drum cartridge, or
expose it to direct sunlight. This could cause defects in printing quality.
NOTE
Be careful not to stain hands or clothes with toner. If hands or clothes get
stained, wash them with clean water. The stains may become permanent if
washed using warm water.
