Precautions when loading documents on the ADF

• B e sure any correction fluid, ink, or stamps on the document are complete dry
• R emove all metals (staples, paper clips, etc.) before loading the documents.
 Failure to do so may cause a malfunction.
• D o not load and print documents with the document guide extended.
 The document may be reduced and printed.
 Doing so may result in skewed feeding.
• D o not load the documents with different sizes.
 The documents may be reduced and printed unnecessarily.
 A document jam may occur.
 Doing so may result in skewed feeding.
• I f you add a new document while scanning, a document jam may occur.
• D o not leave too many scanned documents on the document outlet.
