Setting bypass paper

The paper size is set to "A4", and the paper type is set to "Plain paper" at the
time of shipment. To change the paper size or type used in the bypass tray, set
them as follows:
NOTE
When the paper size dial for the bypass tray is set to "Others", the paper setting
specified here is displayed when you load paper in the bypass tray.

Press <Menu>, <3>, [Enter].

Select "Bypass [Others] Paper" and press [Enter].
To set the paper size


Select "Paper Size" using the cursor keys and press [Edit].

Select the paper size using the cursor keys and press [Enter].
NOTE
• T he following options are displayed when you select "Others" and press [Enter]: 8K
(270mm×390mm), 16K (195mm×270mm), 16K (270mm×195mm) Letter, Letter ,
Legal, 11×7, Half-letter, Half-letter , Executive, Executive , F4, COM10, Monarch,
DL, Envelop1 (90mm×205mm), Envelop2 (240mm×332mm), Custom1, Custom2,
Custom3, Custom4 and Custom5.
• F or the custom size setting, refer to "Registering custom sizes" (page 1-55).
• W hen you select "Normal" and press [Enter], the display returns to the normal
paper selection screen including the normal size (A or B type) or postcards.
