Entering alphabet characters

Switch the entry mode to "Upper case" or "Lower case" (page 1-31).

Enter the alphabet character using the numeric keys.

Entering numbers

Switch the entry mode to "Number" (page 1-31).

Enter the number using the numeric keys.

Entering symbols

When you press the <*> key while entering characters, the entry mode switches
to the symbol entry screen.

Press the <*> key.
In the language setting,
when English is selected:

Select the symbol using the cursor keys and press [Enter].

The symbol is entered.
