On the fax screen, the LCD shows the sending party during reception. The

NOTE
• Do not pull out the paper cassette during printing. This could cause a paper jam.
• T he sending party's information is displayed with the following priority.
1. ID of the sending party 2. TTI number of the sending party
• R eception will be canceled if the memory is exceeded during reception. Contact the
sending party and ask them to transmit again.
• D o not leave too much paper in the paper output tray. If you leave too much paper,
this may cause a discharging failure and paper jam.

Out-of-paper reception

In the event of a paper jam or if paper runs out, the "Out-of-paper reception"
function comes on and the received document is stored in the memory. If a

the memory receive lamp remains illuminated.

• Replace the paper or toner when the power is left ON.

• T he memory can receive and hold a maximum 250 communications and
approximately 4600 sheets of A4 size Muratec standard documents (standard
64MB memory), but it varies depending on the amount of memory used.
• I f the memory is exceeded during out-of-paper reception, reception will be canceled.
Contact the sending party and ask them to transmit again. If a countermeasure
against paper shortage is taken, the received documents that can be stored will be
printed.
• W hen the power shuts off during out-of-paper reception, the contents stored in
memory will be preserved for approximately 72 hours. Note that you need to turn
ON the machine for 24 hours or more in advance.
